Our last wedding of 2019 brought us to Hangar 21 celebrating Jenny & Joey’s big day. We were introduced to this fun loving couple from Carissa at Carissa Woo Photography, and we were so glad she connected us! It was such a joy planning with these two, and it was refreshing to see the Groom take charge when it came to planning - because typically I work very closely with my brides! Bringing his event-planning work experience with him to the table, we were able to make the wedding of their dreams come to life.

The day started with a tea ceremony at the Bride’s Father’s house, with fun games that the Groom and groomsmen had to play in order for the Groom to get to his Bride. Following the tea ceremony, our wedding party took lots of pretty photos before heading to Hangar 21 for more pre-wedding photos. With their hangar venue they chose an aviation theme which was carried throughout the decor and details such as their Wedding Monogram, Escort Cards (aka Boarding Passes!), and more.

Their ceremony was something out of a dream; 250 ghost chairs and wooden sunburst backdrop set underneath a picturesque blue sky. Just enough for a beautiful ceremony with perfect weather. As the sun began setting, cocktail hour came underway and up went the hangar doors to reveal a romantic string-light lit reception space with all the trimmings. The party was just as lit with all of the amazing song choices that kept my team dancing on our feet all night long. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the 2019 wedding season.
