Frequently Asked Questions

Are you certified?

Yes indeed! I studied to receive a certification in Meeting and Event Planning from Cal-State Long Beach. After that, I received a separate certification for Wedding Consultant from Cal-Poly Pomona.

What’s the difference between your Day-of Coordination and what others call Month-of Coordination?

The biggest difference is that we don’t just show up on wedding day to work. We will assist with all pre-planning and organizing between 4-5 months before wedding day, coordinate your rehearsal, as well as arrive on wedding day to facilitate the timeline. Our package is more closely associated with Event Management, where couples do all their bookings and we organize everything for them. But we find that people commonly know this as Day-of Coordination, and this is what we stuck with.

How many people are on your team?

On wedding day, you can expect to see myself and at least (2) other team members no matter what size your guest count is. For guest counts larger than 150, we will add (1) additional team member for every 50-75 additional guests. This ensures that we have all hands on deck and I can still personally attend to your needs as well as oversee the event to ensure we follow our timeline.

Do you and your team setup and breakdown?

We do! For our standard wedding planning packages, you can expect us to do all of your setup on wedding day (areas like your welcome table, reception tables, seating chart, etc.) as well as packing those up at the end of the night before your leave. For our Minimony & Petite-Wedding Packages, we will also assist with setting up chairs and tables as needed.

What is the biggest wedding you’ve done?

The largest wedding I have done was a wedding for 250 guests at the Hangar 21 North (pre-COVID). It was so much fun!

What are some challenges you found in planning a wedding and how did you overcome it?

This is a great question! Basically, all of 2020 was a challenge! But we were able to overcome with the quick thinking of our amazing couples and by being flexible with plans. My ultimate goal is to make sure I get my couples down the aisles, no matter how that looks like.

Are you quick on your feet when it comes to mishaps? Give me an example.

One of our 2020 weddings, the Bride was unable to secure an Uber from her hotel to the venue and the wedding was starting in 20 minutes! We were ready to pick her up, but our amazing venue coordinator stepped up to do the job and asked that we oversee at the venue. I say this all the time - when you work with the best, you only get the best results.
